The Role

This company are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join the team at full capacity. You will be reporting to the Plant Engineer and leading a highly skilled and successful maintenance team. This role involves leading and monitoring the maintenance day to day activities required on the plant. You will ensure that all maintenance and equipment tasks are actioned in a timely manner.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Undertaking and monitoring training and development for approximately 12 skilled tradespeople, apprentices and a greaser.
  • Supervising the quality and work performance of trade and maintenance contractors.
  • Ensuring strict compliance within OH&S procedures. 

Your Background 

  • Established and experienced trade background within mechanical or electrical 
  • Leadership skills
  • Maintenance supervisor experience – FMCG beneficial not mandatory
