The Role

Our client is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Fitter to join the team at full capacity. You will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager and leading a highly skilled and successful maintenance team. This role involves leading and monitoring the maintenance day to day activities required on the plant. You will ensure that all maintenance and equipment tasks are actioned in a timely manner.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• You will be the maintenance Supervisor, but during the day will be doing the fitting. Happy to look at Supervisors/Technicians/Fitters for this role.
• Undertaking and monitoring training and development for approximately 4 people within the team
• Supervising the quality and work performance of trade and maintenance contractors.
• Ensuring strict compliance within OH&S procedures. 

Your Background 

• Established and experienced trade background within mechanical or electrical 
• Leadership skills
• Maintenance supervisor or fitting experience ideally within FMCG
