The Company

This international FMCG business are the leading retail brand of their product in Australia, and one of the largest branded exporters globally. They have a large portfolio of products and have experienced significant growth over the past few years.

This role will have global coverage, however with the choice in being based in either their Sydney or Melbourne offices. 
 

The Role

As the corporate Quality Systems and Compliance Manager, you will have full ownership of the Quality System, with the exciting opportunity to implement change and drive continuous improvement across the business.  

Your key responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

• Analyse both consumer and customer complaints to identify trends and implement necessary improvements
• Support both corporate and site procedures and policies to guarantee compliance with the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards
• Collaborating closely with sites and contract manufacturers to meet and exceed consumer expectations
• Conduct Internal Audits to drive improvements and streamline business process
• Implementation and maintenance of quality and food safety systems across the business
• QMS improvements and updates

Your Background

To be successful in this role, you will have;

• Bachelors degree in in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline
• Food manufacturing experience 
• Strong quality systems / food safety program knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in QMS and Quality Systems positions in an FMCG Manufacturing environment
• Change management experience
• Experience in implementing and developing a QMS
