Manage tier 1 accounts, win tenders and drive sales across the Sydney building market
Working in conjunction with the Sales Manager, you will drive sales across the Sydney construction market and manage tier 1 accounts. This is an opportunity to join a large player within the building material sector and progress your career. Our ideal candidate will come from the building materials space and be well versed in sales and managing tenders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding the business strategy and product pricing
- Build client strategy plans to effectively manage relationships
- Maintain key relationships with major customers as well as seek new opportunities
- Monitor upcoming tender opportunities and liaise with internal stakeholders to put forward winning submissions.
- Bid development and negotiation
- Project management and budget forecasting
- Final sign off and project handover
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current or previous experience in an account management or sales role within the construction industry.
- Previous customer facing experience
- Strong communication skills
- Experience managing a tender process.
- Experience using a CRM and MS suite
- Understanding of construction acumen is beneficial
- Strong business acumen and reporting skills
