Join a well established consumer electronics wholesaler and help drive NPD and existing products across the Australian retail market. Through strong collaboration with marketing, logistics and the product development teams, you’ll work to help grow your clients product range. Leverage market insights, network relationships and use data to help drive sales growth.
Role:
- Engage with buyers through site visits, develop and foster strong relationships by providing value add win-win scenarios.
- Conduct regular customer call cycles and manage customer sell-through activity.
- Work with store managers/franchisees, department heads and conduct in-depth market analysis of commercial metrics.
- Develop short and long term sale strategies in order to achieve targets.
- Develop portfolio wide business plans and engage with Brand & Product Managers, Demand Planning teams to plan and forecast sale by SKU’s, Category and individual customers.
- Attend industry events such as trade shows and networking events.
Background needed to be successful
- Experience in the consumer electronics industry
- B2B sales experience, managing product life cycle across the retail market
- Must have existing relationships with buyers & category managers from big box retailers.
- Strong analytic skills and reviewing/interpreting data
- CRM, reporting, and strong presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This role does require 5 days in the office, however, is part of a vibrant, hard working and collaborative team with high performing & experienced managers.
