Join a leading Australian tap ware business as their new BDM. You’ll be the face of the business, engaging plumbers and builders, whilst managing a network of merchants. We are seeking people with a plumbing background, or, who have sold bathroom and laundry building products across Adelaide.
This is an autonomous role, working from home wit the expectation of being on the road 4 days p/w.
Role:
- Build trust with your customer base through demonstrating product knowledge and broader product and service value
- Cold calling and prospecting new business.
- Build competitor & industry knowledge to identify opportunities
- Leverage existing relationships to build sales pipeline
- Present product & price presentations to new and existing clients
- Deliver on sales budget and profit outcomes.
- F2F engagement with clients and effect use of a CRM reporting
Background:
- Experience selling into the plumbing sector (must have)
- Track record of winning new business and expanding customer wallet share
- Background as a plumber (highly regarded)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Autonomous worker who can manage their own diary.
- Strong negotiation and presentations skills
