Exciting commercial role in Supply Chain

The Company

This organisation is a fast growing supply chain business, working with a diverse range of customers across Asia Pacific. They are recognised as the market leader and due to continued growth, they have a need to recruit a senior supply chain leader that has the commercial and analytical ability to deliver solutions. Working closely with key stakeholders internally and externally, this is a critical role to support the growth of the business.

The Role

As the Supply Chain Optimisation Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a best-in-class supply chain operations. This includes:

  • Utilising data, developing and implement a supply chain network that ensures the most efficient and customer centric outcomes for the organisation.
  • Develop a change program to improve the supply chain operation across the business. This will include project managing the overall development of the supply chain strategy including developing the project plan, milestones, risk management, communication and reporting.
  • Work with the a range of logistics providers to develop strategies to enhance the customer service levels, responsiveness and efficiency across the supply chain (end to end).
  • Implement processes and framework, both internally and externally including with suppliers, to ensure the business is operating in best practice and enabling the supply chain to grow.
  • Work cross functionally to understand business impacts and key objectives, as well as understand the commercial outputs and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain productive, service orientated partnership with 3PL suppliers. Work intimately with these suppliers and key supply chain partners to reduce cost and deliver maximum value.
  • Implementation of current and future key strategic projects relating to distribution operations.
  • Build and develop a strategic plan based on people and process capability, automation, continuous improvement and engagement, which will deliver significant savings and improvements.
  • Build framework across the supply chain operations.

Your Background

Tertiary qualified, you will have extensive experience working within a supply chain function within a fast paced environment. You must have strong analytical and problem solving skillset, with an ability to develop detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, a strong change management background, and an ability to deliver results are all necessary skills required to be successful.
