The Role
As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in our operations, driving key Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to elevate quality across all processes. There is a high emphasis on improving quality procedures and driving “Right First Time”.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the National Quality Manager.
- Lead the implementation of CI principles by identifying gaps and recommending improvements in training, processes, and practices.
- Drive and facilitate projects aimed at fostering a “Right First Time” culture.
- Collaborate closely with production and maintenance teams to roll out CI initiatives.
- Develop and deliver training programs to build capability, ensuring all CI activities are documented for long-term organizational improvement.
- Conduct internal audits to meet and maintain both customer and business quality expectations.
- Oversee product trials, ensuring consistent adherence to quality standards.
- Analyze data and spearhead site-based improvement projects.
- Implement and manage Non-Conformance Report (NCR) programs.
- Provide in-depth training on quality standards and requirements.
Your Profile
- Proven experience in Continuous Improvement or Process Improvement roles.
- Strong background in leading CI projects.
- Expertise in root cause analysis (RCA) and quality methodologies.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems.
- Strong auditing skills (certification preferred).
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong communication abilities.
- A degree in Engineering
