The Company
Our Tier 1 client is looking for an experienced DC Manager to manage their WA operation during an exciting time of growth and transformation.
The Role
For the right candidate the responsibilities will include but won’t be limited to:
- Overlook the businesses warehousing operation and transport across inner and regional WA.
- Working closely with national management, ensuring the service and DIFOT for WA is of the highest standard.
- Lead and plan weekly and monthly operations, including labour, external transport and equipment requirements when needed.
- Identify and lead Continuous Improvements across the operation.
- Overlook the businesses financial operating plan, KPIs and metrics ensuring best in class performance.
- Manage stocktake and cycle counts.
Your Background
- At least 4 years’ experience in a Warehouse/DC Manager capacity.
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to run a state operation autonomously.
- Proven record of driving Continuous Improvements within warehousing and transport.
- Ability to manage the operation on the floor and in the back office. Offering mentorship and guidance to what good looks like.
