The Company:
Join a Tier 1 Food manufacturing business based in the Southern suburbs of Brisbane.Our client has a commitment to operational excellence and employee wellbeing, our company prides itself on delivering high quality environments that support both productivity and sustainability. They are now seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to help maintain and improve the production environment.
The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Manage day to day operations and long term planning of facilities to ensure optimal performance
- Monitoring and maintenance of the refridgeration, boiler and fire systems
- Develop shutdown plans in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager
- Understand the root causes of downtime, energy and water usages and propose solutions to eliminate
- Coordinate with contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Your Background:
In order to be successful for this role you will have:
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role
- Prior manufacturing experience desirable
- Strong knowledge of building systems (Boilers, Refridgeration)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
