An amazing opportunity has arisen with a brand-new state of the art food and beverage manufacturing facility in Launceston, Tasmania!
This unique business focuses on fermnetation and brewing, and are seeking a Factory manager to drive continuous improvement across the site.

  
The Role

• Leading a key manufacturing facility with a focus on instilling best practise and developing future successors across the organisation
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality across the site
• Collobrate with cross functional teams  to drive continuous improvement across the site
• Develop and implement SOP’s 
• Assist with budget planning and cost control to optimise profitability
• Build and lead engagement and culture through leadership, training and being a good mentor for the production team
• Monitor employee performance and implement employee improvement programs

Your Background

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Minimum 5 years previous expereince within an FMCG environment – prior fermnetation experience highly regarded.
• Proven leadership abilities, ability to motivate and lead a team
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionaly and with external stakeholders
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
