The Company

This role will be based at their plant in west Sydney.
 
 
The Role
 

Reporting directly to the FSQ Manager, working as part of the FSQ team.
 
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
 

  • Help drive FSQ initiatives on site, as well as providing technical expertise on daily issues, continuous improvement, HACCP and site projects.
  • Mantain accurate reporting and data collecting, improving communication of information where possible.
  • Identify and lead investigations on non-comformances, with investigations being led from open to close, liaising with suppliers and timely communication on the issue.
  • Ensuring compliance through process and documentation, partaking in relevant internal/ external audits and coordinating training also.
  • Assist in HACCP reviews and update HACCP plans.
  • Promote and foster cross-functional relationships, particularly across operations, R&D and marketing, with the aim of in turn increasing quality efficiency.
  • Complete testing program, including annual SKU testing, finished product and water testing, stock hold and release and mantaining accurate documentation of this.
  • Ensuring all machinery is properly calibrated, as per SOPs and requirements, whilst coordinating any maintence and updating the calibration register and reports.

 
Your Background

 
To be successful in this role, you will have:
 

  • 3 years minimum experience in quality in a food manufacturing environment
  • Bachelors degree in Food Science & Technology, Engineering or equivalent
  • Advanced knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and QA principles and application
  • Strong communication skills
  • Training development and delivery
  • Lead auditing experience preffered
  • Ability to act boldy, move quickly and influence others throughout the business
