The Role

Your responsibilities will vary according to client needs, but you’ll generally support the Engineering or Plant Manager by delivering top-quality Electrical services. This includes:

  • Conducting planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and installing new plant and equipment.
  • Preparing safety reports and risk assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.

Your Background

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently within a close-knit team.
  • A valid “A Grade Electrical Licence.”
  • White Card & EWP Licence.
  • Experience in Industrial Manufacturing, particularly in FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Energy, or Packaging sectors.
  • A track record of identifying and implementing operational improvements.
  • Experience as the primary electrician at a manufacturing site, managing both production lines and standalone equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with high-speed packing machines, conveyors, sensors, and related equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of motor control, PLCs (both programming and fault finding) and Variable Speed Drives (VSD).
  • Excellent people management skills and the ability to build strong relationships with technicians and stakeholders.

  • $50 – $58 p/h (depending on experience) plus superannuation
  • Fully serviced Vehicle provided, fully serviced. 
  • Call-out/Penalty rates paid on top
  • RDO
  • Annual Leave
