The Role
Your duties will be tailored to meet the specific needs of each client, but generally, you’ll work alongside Engineering or Plant Managers to provide high-quality electrical services. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and installing new machinery and equipment.
- Preparing safety reports and conducting risk assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
Your Background
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- A high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently within a supportive team.
- A valid “A Grade Electrical Licence.”
- White Card & EWP Licence.
- Experience within Industrial Manufacturing, particularly in FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Energy, or Packaging sectors.
- A proven track record of identifying and implementing operational improvements.
- Strong skill set in Automation and PLC Programming.
- Experience as the lead electrician at a manufacturing site, handling both production lines and standalone equipment.Hands-on expertise with high-speed packaging machines, conveyors, sensors, and related systems.
- Strong knowledge of motor control and Variable Speed Drives (VSD).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and develop strong relationships with technicians and stakeholders.

- $50 – $58 per hour (based on experience) + superannuation

- Call-out and penalty rates paid in addition
