The Company
Australia’s leading wire manufacturer produces high and low-carbon wire products in bright and galvanized finishes, meeting strict quality standards.
This facility is based in Geelong, VIC, specially focused on rural & farm fencing.
The Role
You’ll report direct to the Maintenance Supervisor & Team Leader to provide high-quality electrical services. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and installing new machinery and equipment.
- Preparing safety reports and conducting risk assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
Your Background
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- A high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently within a supportive team.
- A valid “A Grade Electrical Licence.”
- White Card & EWP Licence.
- Experience within Industrial Manufacturing
- A proven track record of identifying and implementing operational improvements.
- Strong skill set in PLC fault finding
- Experience as the lead electrician at a manufacturing site, handling both production lines and standalone equipment.
What’s on Offer
This role is working Monday to Friday 4pm to Midnight for a market leader who is open to offering training & broadening your experience and skill set:
- $46 per hour (based on experience & including 15% loading) + Superannuation + Allowances
- Additionally Allowances are $318 per week on top of your wage
- Overtime when available
- Rostered Days Off (RDO)
- Annual leave benefits
- 50% off gym expenses (no greater than $300)
