About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Project Engineer to manage the end to end delivery of critical manufacturing projects. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will see you take charge of projects that improve operational efficiency, enhance production processes, and drive growth.
You will collaborate across departments, lead contractors and suppliers, and ensure project outcomes align with business goals. You will be running projects from 10k to 50k. The long term plan is to have you help running upto $50million projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute capital projects from concept through to completion.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, budgets, and timelines.
- Oversee design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on project progress.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Degree qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
- 1-4+ years of experience in project engineering ideally within the FMCG sector.
- A proven track record in managing capital projects and delivering on time and within budget.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
