The Role – Maintenance Fitter – FMCG.

The Rate – Nightshift Monday to Friday $65 p/h + super
The Hours – Monday to Friday 10pm-6am
Candidate – You need to have a Mechanical trade qualification and have full working rights in Australia.
About the Role:
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility by performing preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of food processing equipment. You will want to get your foot in the door with this business. This FMCG company has renowned one of the most sufficient maintenance teams within the industry, a team you can have a laugh with but the work also gets done at the same time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and installations.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to optimise efficiency.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and compliance standards at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
- Trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner or Maintenance Fitter.
- Experience in an FMCG environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment.
