The Role
Reporting to ANZ Operations Director, you will have responsibility across a nation footprint of manufacturing sites, overseeing and guiding all engineering activities including:
- Capital deployment, process improvement, and systems development to meet the businesses objectives.
- Optimise the utilisation of capital and materials to achieve objectives.
- Stay up to date on industry developments that could benefit the efficient and safe operation of manufacturing processes.
- Your role will be pivotal in guiding all areas of the reliability functions on all sites, making a significant contribution to the smooth operation of all manufacturing sites.
- Update and create procedures for business reliability functions.
- Ensure asset registers are fully incorporated into MEX.
- Contribute to all aspects of capital projects, including design, some budget submissions, investigations, ordering of equipment, supervision/liaison with contractors, commissioning, and monitoring.
- Contract negotiation and contract compliance assurance for capital works.
- Take charge of and guarantee the efficient management of site reliability, project, and capital budgets.
- Ensuring asset compliance requirements are well considered prior to new projects executions.
Your Background
- Tertiary or trade qualified in Engineering / Maintenance.
- Extensive experience in a Engineering / Maintenance Management role. Those with experience with a multi-site remit will be looked at very favourably.
- Strong background in being able to successfully implement positive cultural change.
- Proven ability in developing and implementing preventative maintenance systems and processes.
- You will also have experience in a complex manufacturing environment and be adept at leading multi discipline teams, and will be able to demonstrate strong influencing skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
