A rare opportunity has presented with the business to come in as their Procurement Manager to manage their end-to-end procurement of a range of food ingredients and packaging.
The Role
- As the Procurement Manager, you will support the development, deployment and management of procurement strategies for a key portfolio within bulk ingredients.
- You will deliver sustained value and competitive advantage for the business by working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Leading the design and implementation of sourcing strategies, you will deliver cost savings and efficiency improvements across the key ingredient’s portfolio.
- Reporting to the Head of Operations you will develop adherence policies and work with the business to ensure optimum service levels are achieved by all level of suppliers.
Your Background
Ideally you will degree qualified and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a direct category within an FMCG organisation. Naturally influential, you will engage stakeholders with ease and negotiate successfully to deliver on key business objectives. Your well-developed compliance and regulation experience, specifically within the food industry, will ensure you slip into this strategic role with ease. You must be able to create and deliver material strategies in an insightful and efficient manner ensuring impactful change for the organisation.
