About the Role
You’ll play a hands-on role in developing pet products that excite consumers and meet market demands. From concept through to production, you’ll work closely with internal teams and international suppliers to bring innovative, high-quality products to life — on time and within budget. This role offers variety, cross-functional collaboration, and the chance to contribute to a fast-moving category with global impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new pet products in line with seasonal strategies and market trends
- Collaborate with design, QA, sourcing, and marketing teams across the product lifecycle
- Manage supplier relationships, samples, technical specifications, and timelines
- Create and maintain tech packs, BOMs, and quality/compliance documentation
- Negotiate costings to meet target margins and maintain product integrity
- Raise purchase orders and manage development progress within the ERP system
- Brief packaging requirements and ensure all artwork aligns with product positioning
- Complete new line forms for product setup across systems and retail channels
- Stay informed on pet industry trends, customer needs, and material innovations
About You
- 3+ years in product development within consumer goods, lifestyle, or pet-related categories
- Experience working with overseas suppliers and managing manufacturing timelines
- trong communication, negotiation, and project coordination skills
- Highly organised with an eye for detail and a solutions-first mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator
- Experience with ERP/order management systems and new line setup processes
- Understanding of packaging development and compliance standards is a bonus
- Passion for the pet category and an interest in consumer trends
