A leading FMCG business based in Laverton North. We are looking for a Production Packaging Team Leader to join our exciting team. As the Packaging Team Leader, you will provide leadership and guidance to your team and ensure we deliver on our vision to bring enjoyment and connection to everyday moments in life. Please Note – The packaging department operates a 24/5 roster and as such this role requires the successful candidate to work a rotating roster with your team, 8-hour night, afternoon & day shifts.
You will need to be able to work a days and nights rotating roster for this role
The Role – You will receive a 25% shift allowance for this role (25% ontop of your yearly salary) You will be responsible for:
- Supervising the production workers
- Provide your input to promote health and safety standards and make sure the team are performing safely
- Manage process and product quality within the production packaging department
- Maintain GMP standards
Your Background
- We will be looking for someone with Production Team Leader/Shift Manager/Supervisor/Management experience within FMCG
Experience managing absenteeism - Trade qualified (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Good understanding of machine safety
- Someone who can spot danger or a hazard and identify it there and then
