Production Planner

The Company
Our client, a leader in their industry and trusted by some of Australia’s most recognised brands, is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join their team. This key, business-critical role is based on-site just 30 minutes outside of Adelaide’s CBD and reports directly to the Planning Manager. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering efficient operations and quality production by developing production plans, optimising scheduling processes, and working collaboratively with the wider team to drive results. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity in a fast-paced environment offering the chance to make a significant impact.
 
The Role
The key responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to;

• Create and manage production plans that balance supply and demand while ensuring timely deliveries.
• Develop labour and mixing schedules, review material needs, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Working proactively to identify and mitigate challenges/issues in a timely manner.
• Continuously enhance scheduling processes and identify opportunities for better resource use.
• Working cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders to support planning activities and foster collaboration across the planning space.

 
Your Background 

• Ideally 3+years in a fast paced FMCG environment and/or similar role.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a solutions focused mindset.
• Microsoft Excel and SAP experience is critical.
• Highly organised with effective time management.
