Warehouse Team Lead

The Company
Our client is a growing FMCG business on an exciting journey to become a market leader in their industry in the coming years. As part of this growth, they are now seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Lead to join their team. This key, business-critical role is based on-site in the Swan Hill region and reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager. You’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing warehouse operations and collaborating with the wider team to meet critical business requirements. This is a full-time, permanent role in a fast-paced environment, offering the chance to make a significant impact.
 
The Role
The key responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:

• Manage the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to safety standards.
• Oversee the handling of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained for production needs, including managing dispatch, receival, and stock preparations.
• Actively participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, resolving system and process issues, and supporting continuous improvements to warehouse operations.
• Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and teamwork while managing logistics, shipments, and storage.

 
Your Background

• 2+ years of experience within a similar FMCG environment.
• Experience utilising WMS systems and MS Office products.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
