The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our dynamic maintenance team. You will play a key role in keeping our plant running smoothly by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of mechanical equipment. This is a hands on role that offers exposure to advanced machinery in a fast paced food production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and fixed plant machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime.
• Conduct preventative maintenance as per schedules.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Comply with all workplace health and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Skills & Experience:

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (Cert III or equivalent).
• Experience in a food manufacturing or fast moving production environment is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge.
• Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Proactive, hands-on approach and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and a team player.
