The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Transport Operations Manager to take ownership of a large scale operation in Western Sydney. Working closely with the companies GM, you’ll lead day to day performance across a fleet of 80+ trucks while driving structure, efficiency, and service excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading end to end transport operations across a high volume, fast paced environment
• Managing fleet performance, ensuring service levels and customer expectations are consistently met
• Building structure, accountability, and capability across a diverse operations team
• Supporting growth through new customer onboarding and operational transitions
• Driving continuous improvement across processes, systems, and ways of working
• Managing budgets, forecasting, and overall operational performance
• Ensuring strong safety, compliance, and risk management standards
• Developing strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders

Your Background

• Proven leadership experience within transport, logistics, or fleet based operations
• Experience managing large teams and complex, high volume operations
• Strong track record of improving processes and driving operational performance
• Commercially astute with experience managing budgets and KPIs
• Confident stakeholder manager with a customer-first mindset
• Solid understanding of transport safety, compliance, and risk
