This is an initial 6-month contract with the potential for extension, offering the opportunity to play a key role within a high-performing procurement function.

The Company

We are partnering with a well-established Australian manufacturing business with a strong footprint across ANZ. Renowned for delivering high-quality products and continuously investing in their operations, they are seeking a skilled Procurement Coordinator to join their team on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension.
This opportunity has arisen to support the team through a period of leave, playing a key role in maintaining seamless end-to-end procurement operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
 
The Role

  • Managing the full procurement lifecycle from sourcing through to purchase order and supplier management
  • Leading supplier negotiations to drive cost savings and improved commercial outcomes
  • Coordinating RFQs, pricing reviews, and contract negotiations
  • Developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships and performance metrics
  • Producing routine reports across spend, supplier performance, and inventory
  • Analysing procurement data to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Working extensively with Microsoft Dynamics (D365) for procurement, inventory, and reporting
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting, stock availability, and system integrity

 
Your Background

  • Proven experience in a Procurement Coordinator within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong contract negotiation skills with a track record of delivering cost savings
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and influence decisions
  • Experience producing routine reports and insights for stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across suppliers and internal teams
  • Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
