Electrical Engineer 

The Opportunity
Join a specialist engineering team delivering utility-scale renewable energy and high-voltage infrastructure projects across Australia.

This role sits at the centre of design delivery for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and substation projects up to 500 MW / 2.2 GWh, combining hands-on electrical design with power system studies to deliver safe, compliant, and constructible solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review single line diagrams (SLDs), schematics, and electrical layouts
• Produce earthing layouts, cable layouts, trench details, and general arrangement drawings
• Support delivery of BESS and substation projects (sub-5 MW to utility scale)
• Liaise with utilities and clients for approvals
• Ensure compliance with AS/NZS, IEC, and DNSP/TNSP standards. 

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering 
• Experience in substation or renewable energy design
• Experience producing SLDs, schematics, and detailed electrical designs
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
