With investment in new technology, automation and site growth, the organisation is looking for an experienced Safety Business Partner to support established operations while playing a key role in its growth.
The Role
This is a true business partnering role, suited to someone who enjoys being visible on site, building strong relationships with leaders and teams, and influencing positive safety outcomes in practical, operational environments. This role will require regular travel. Responsibilities include:
- Partner with site leaders to drive safety performance and engagement
- Provide practical WHS advice across manufacturing, distribution and operational environments
- Coach leaders, supervisors and frontline teams on safety responsibilities
- Support incident investigations, corrective actions and risk management activities
- Identify emerging risks through data, site engagement and operational observations
- Support traffic management, contractor management and high-risk work activities
- Ensure safety systems, processes and documentation are embedded effectively on site
- Support internal and external audits and evidence collation
- Deliver or coordinate site-based safety training where required
- Support RTW and injury management activity in partnership with HR
- Drive continuous improvement and help maintain a strong safety culture across sites
Your Background
In order to be successful in this role, you will:
- Several years experience in a safety position
- Background in manufacturing or similarly complex environment
- Strong incident investigation and risk management experience
- Confidence coaching leaders and influencing frontline teams
- Strong knowledge of relevant safety legislation
- Certificate IV in WHS or higher
