My client is a well-established FMCG manufacturer, recognised for producing high-quality consumer products across the Australian market. With a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement, an opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Planner to join the team at a large regional manufacturing site.
This role is based in a regional location in Northern NSW, offering a lifestyle opportunity alongside a stable and growing business.

The Role

Reporting into the Engineering function, the responsibilities of the role includes:
• Developing and managing preventative and predictive maintenance schedules
• Coordinating maintenance activities to minimise downtime and optimise plant performance
• Planning labour, materials and resources for both planned and unplanned work
• Managing CMMS systems, ensuring accurate data, job tracking and reporting
• Liaising closely with Maintenance, Production and Engineering teams to prioritise work
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance processes and reliability
• Supporting shutdown planning and execution

Your Background

In order to be successful in this role, you will be:
• Experienced in a Maintenance Planner or similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Familiar with CMMS systems and maintenance planning methodologies
• Strong in planning, scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities
• Technically minded, with either a trade or engineering background
• A strong communicator, able to work cross-functionally with operations teams
• Detail-oriented with a proactive and organised approach
• Experience within FMCG or a similar fast-paced environment highly regarded
