The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring plant reliability and minimising downtime across a busy production facility.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Fault finding and repairing production and packaging equipment.
• Diagnosing mechanical breakdowns efficiently to reduce downtime.
• Working on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, motors, pneumatics and hydraulic systems.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Completing maintenance documentation and work orders through the CMMS.
• Working closely with production to maximise plant performance.
• Maintaining high safety and food quality standards.

About YouTo be successful, you’ll have:

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitter).
• Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, beverage, packaging or a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Strong fault-finding and breakdown maintenance experience.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors and rotating equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Full Australian working rights.
