Maintenance Fitter – Permanent Night Shift | Food Manufacturing
$68.51 per hour (Inclusive of 30% shift loading) + Super | 3 x 12-hour shifts
Overtime: Plenty overtime available, during the week and the weekend!!
Candidate: Qualified Fitter with Food/Pharma OR FMCG experience!

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a highly established and stable food manufacturing business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a fitter looking for long-term job security, excellent earning potential and a genuine work-life balance, working just three nights per week.

The Role

• Wednesday: 7:00pm – 7:00am Thursday
• Thursday: 7:00pm – 7:00am Friday
• Friday: 7:00pm – 7:00am Saturday
• Base rate: $52.70 per hour
• 30% night shift loading: $15.81 per hour
• Total rate: $68.51 per hour + Super
• Permanent position with a highly established food manufacturer

The Opportunity
Working as part of a highly experienced maintenance team, you will be responsible for keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently across a busy food manufacturing environment.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Preventative and reactive maintenance
• Breakdown troubleshooting and repairs
• Mechanical fault finding
• Conveyor, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics and hydraulics
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensuring plant and equipment operates safely and reliably

About You

• Trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Fitter
• Previous experience in food, FMCG or fast paced manufacturing 
• Strong mechanical fault-finding ability
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Strong focus on safety and preventative maintenance
• Reliable and looking for a long-term opportunity
