Candidate – Qualified Electrician with FMCG/Food experience

Are you a qualified Maintenance Electrician looking for a role that offers a structured 4 on / 4 off roster, strong earning potential and excellent work-life balance?
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the maintenance team of a leading food manufacturing business based in Dandenong.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment, solving complex electrical faults and keeping high-speed manufacturing equipment operating at its best.
The RoleWorking as part of an experienced maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining, fault finding and improving electrical and automated production equipment across the site.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Electrical preventative and reactive maintenance
• Fault finding and breakdown response across production equipment
• Diagnosing electrical, control and automation faults
• Working with motors, sensors, VSDs, PLCs and control systems
• Electrical repairs, modifications and equipment upgrades
• Completing maintenance records and using the site’s CMMS
• Working closely with mechanical maintenance and production teams
• Maintaining a strong focus on electrical safety and food manufacturing standards

About You
We are looking for a trade-qualified Electrician with strong industrial maintenance experience.
You will ideally have:

• Current Victorian Electrical Licence
• Previous experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills
• Experience with motors, sensors, VSDs and control systems
• PLC fault-finding experience highly regarded
• Experience working in FMCG or food manufacturing highly regarded
• Flexibility to work both day and night shifts

FMCG experience is highly regarded, however electricians from other industrial manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply.
