The Company:

This global food manufacturer has achieved outstanding results by streamlining processes and strengthening plant reliability. To build on this success, the company is now seeking a Maintenance Manager to join the team.

As one of the largest food producers, the business offers a dynamic environment where you can make a real impact. This role is based on the day shift working Monday to Friday.

The Role:

Reporting into the Site Manager, your responsibilities will include;

• Oversee a team of 8 x Maintenance Superivsors.
• Develop and implement the maintenance strategy across the site.
• Lead and develop the maintenance strategies and team within the plant, ensuring KPI’s around; OEE, machine reliability, uptime, stoppages and OH&S are adhered to.
• Developing the maintenance team in fault finding techniques, RCA, Fishbone Diagrams and other methodologies to facilitate a thorough and proactive maintenance culture.
• Life cycle management of site asset base, obsolescence and capital upgrades. 
• Conducting in depth machine analysis to properly detect and predict machine issues before they arise.

Your Background:

• Trades background (Mechanical or Electrical)
• Strong leadership skills
• Extensive experience developing and implementing maintenance strategies to bring about a proactive and preventative maintenance culture.
• You will be a strong communicator, both verbal and written with excellent problem solving abilities.
