My client is a large FMCG leader looking for its next Automation Engineer in Tasmania. The exciting opportunity has become available to assist with multiple projects on an 3 month basis with room for extension.
 
The Role
 
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, the responsibilities of the role includes:

• Delivery of automation work packages across capital projects – typically involves the planning and coordination of defining scopes, objectives and deliverables
• Capacity to complete the technical investigation on capital projects
• Oversee process line equipment upgrade including electrical and automation equipment
• Programming PLCs and Safety PLCs

Your Background
 
In order to be successful in this role, you will have:

• Degree qualified
• 5+ years of relevant industrial experience
• Must have FMCG experience or similar – dairy experience highly preferred
• Strong experience with SCADA or communication protocols – preference for experience with Allen Bradley PLC’s
• Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
• Strongly preferred that candidates are currently registered on the Business Licensing Authority or if not, eligible for registration
