We’re seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a Mackay-based manufacturing and distribution operation — a critical regional hub supplying products to construction, infrastructure projects across the region.

You’ll take full accountability for the safety, performance, profitability, and growth of a multidisciplinary team of 10. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends operational with commercial acumen and genuine strategic scope.

What you’ll be responsible for:
• Leading and developing a team across operations and sales
• Driving production efficiency and service delivery across a manufacturing and distribution environment
• Embedding a strong safety culture and maintaining compliance standards
• Managing key customer relationships and growing regional market share
• Delivering financial performance through cost control and operational optimisation
• Supporting expansion into emerging regional markets

What you’ll bring:
• Proven branch or site leadership experience in manufacturing, logistics, sales, or an industrial environment
• A demonstrated safety-first approach with the ability to embed culture, not just compliance
• Strong commercial and financial management capability
• The ability to lead teams in complex, fast-paced environments
