Customs Broker role | Melbourne | $110–130k + super. Hybrid working (2 days WFH) in a high-volume regulated import environment with real ownership of end-to-end customs clearance and compliance.
The Company
Our client is a national leader in their space operating within a regulated import environment and servicing well-established customers across Australia. As a result of continued operational demand, the team is looking to recruit an experienced Licensed Customs Broker to join a high-performing team. This is a business-critical role acting as a central point across customs and compliance activities, responsible for ensuring regulatory adherence and supporting the broader supply chain. This role will be a full-time permanent opportunity based in Melbourne.
The Role
The key responsibilities of this role will include, but not be limited to:
- Prepare, review and lodge import declarations in a timely manner
- Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage tariff classification and customs valuation activities
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support operational outcomes
- Monitor compliance standards and identify process improvement opportunities
Your Background
- Ideally 1–3 years’ experience within a freight, logistics or regulated import environment, with demonstrated exposure to customs processes.
- Current Australian Customs Broker Licence (essential).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Confident communicator with a collaborative working style.
