Demand Planner role focused on owning forecasts, analysing demand trends and partnering with stakeholders to optimise supply chain outcomes.
The Company
Our client is a well-established FMCG business with a strong reputation for quality, innovation and sustainable growth. They are seeking a Demand Planner to join their Supply Chain team and play a key role in ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the demand forecasting process across multiple product categories.
- Analyse historical sales data, customer trends and market insights to produce accurate forecasts.
- Partner with Sales, Operations and Production to align demand with business requirements.
- Monitor forecast accuracy, identify variances and implement corrective actions.
- Support inventory optimisation to balance customer service levels and stock availability.
- Develop reporting and provide insights to support business decision-making.
- Contribute to forecasting process improvements and S&OP activities.
About You
- Previous experience in a Demand Planning or Supply Planning role within FMCG, manufacturing or a similar environment.
- Demonstrated ownership of the demand forecasting process.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP, forecasting or planning systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
