Job Title: Facilities Supervisor

Salary – $139,000 total salary package

We are currently recruiting an experienced Facilities Supervisor to join the leadership team in a full time capacity. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this role is ideal for anyone that is wanting to further develop their leaderships skills and join an organisation that is leading the way in the meat industry.
 
Your key responsibilities will include:
·         Managing the day shift support team performing long-term equipment overhauls, projects and process tool maintenance
·         Coordinating of 1st and 2nd year apprentices
·         Managing the fire systems to ensure operation and maintenance meet the plants statutory compliance
·         Developing and implementing appropriate maintenance strategies to ensure buildings, plant and equipment are maintained in a safe and efficient manner
·         Providing direction, advice and assistance to the maintenance and production staff in engineering and maintenance related issues
·         Ensuring maintenance manning levels meet plant requirements

About You
·         Mechanical/Electrical Trade qualifications
·         Experience working with refrigeration and boilers advantageous
·         Previous experience in maintenance supervision or management
·         Experience in a food manufacturing environment advantageous
·         Ability to plan organise and control project and maintenance activities to optimise the use of available resources
·         Sound knowledge of OH&S regulations
·         Must have Australian work rights
