Blackbook Executive is partnering with a leading industrial services organisation to recruit a trade-qualified Field Service Technician – Electrician based in Mackay.

The Opportunity Working across customer sites throughout the Central Queensland region, you will be responsible for the maintenance, fault finding, repair and servicing of specialised industrial equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance activities
• Electrical fault finding and breakdown response
• Diagnosing and repairing equipment issues in the field
• Supporting installation and commissioning projects
• Maintaining service records and asset documentation
• Delivering technical support directly to customers
• Participating in a rotating on-call roster
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and compliantly

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current Queensland Electrical Licence
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience within industrial, mining, manufacturing or field service environments
• Ability to work autonomously
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Full Australian working rights

Highly Regarded

• MR Licence
• Standard 11 or current mine site inductions
• Forklift Licence (LF)
• EWP Ticket
• Confined Space Ticket
• Rigging qualifications
• Experience with compressors, instrumentation, automated systems, rotating equipment or industrial process equipment
