The Opportunity:

My client is a purpse-led Australian food organisation. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Production to lead operations at the Brisbane site, a senior leadership role that blends operational excellence with a purpose driven mission.

As Head of Production, you’ll ensure the smooth, efficient, and safe running of a large scale food operations and food inventory systems. You’ll oversee production, warehouse, and inventory management teams, driving productivity, innovation, and continuous improvement while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure optimisation and efficient management of food production within budget
• Oversee site safety practices, including adherence to HACCP requirements
• Model a safety first culture and behaviour 
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team 
• Drive process improvement and efficiency in food production and warehouse management
• Partner with the General Manager and executive team to deliver operational strategies
• Manage budgets, reporting, and performance metrics for production output and inventory

Your Background:

• People focused leader with the ability to build trust and lead by example
• Extensive experience in large-scale food production or manufacturing
• Proven leadership in cross-functional operations and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
