Industrial Electrician

Location: Melbourne Australia | Full-time | 6:00am – 2:00pm

A growing power systems specialist is expanding due to continued project growth!

This opportunity suits an A-Grade Industrial Electrician with generator experience however 

What you’ll be doing

  • Perform load bank testing, controls verification, protection checks, and performance validation
  • Read and interpret schematics, single-line diagrams, and wiring schedules
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults during commissioning
  • Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to deliver successful project outcomes
  • Produce commissioning documentation including test sheets, redlines, and handover packs
  • Travel locally and interstate for commissioning projects as required

What we’re looking for

  • A-Grade Electrical Licence (essential) (VIC)
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Mechanical aptitude across engines, cooling, fuel, and associated systems
  • Ability to work both in workshop and on-site environments
  • Full working rights and current driver’s licence 

Highly regarded:

  • Exposure to PLC/SCADA, AVR, governor systems, and LV/MV switchgear
