The Opportunity
Blackbook Recruitment is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join an established FMCG manufacturing operation based in Lidcombe, Sydney.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified electrician with a strong industrial maintenance background to join a production environment, working across breakdowns, preventative maintenance and ongoing equipment reliability.
With a consistent afternoon shift roster and overtime available, this role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to develop your skills within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults across production machinery and equipment.
• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose faults involving motors, sensors, PLCs, VSDs and control systems.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Respond to breakdowns and ensure production equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to maintain equipment reliability.

What We’re Looking For

• Fully qualified and licensed Electrician in NSW.
• Previous experience in industrial maintenance, ideally within FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with automated production machinery, motors, PLCs and VSDs.
• A proactive approach to preventative maintenance, safety and problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
