Role – Maintenance Electrician

Join a highly successful FMCG manufacturing business and play a key role in keeping a busy production facility running at peak performance.

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the team on a permanent dayshift basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician who enjoys hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting and working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Role
You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical and automated production equipment across the site.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting production equipment
  • Electrical repairs, installations and modifications
  • PLC and control system troubleshooting
  • Working with sensors, motors, VSDs and automation equipment
  • Supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
  • Ensuring all maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently
  • Working closely with the production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime

About You
We are looking for a qualified electrician with:

  • A-Grade Electrical Licence
  • Previous experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging or other high-volume manufacturing environments
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with industrial machinery and automated production equipment
  • A proactive approach to preventative maintenance
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
