Maintenance Electrician – FMCG Manufacturing

We are looking for an A Grade Electrician with experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
Overtime: PLENTY OVERTIME AVAILABLE
Are you an experienced Maintenance Electrician looking to join a fast-paced FMCG manufacturer where no two days are the same? We are partnering with a leading food manufacturing business that is investing heavily in its people, equipment and site, creating an excellent opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join the team.
This is a hands-on role working within a high-volume production environment, ensuring plant reliability, minimising downtime and driving continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
- Fault find and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, pneumatic and mechanical issues.
- Carry out planned maintenance in line with the site’s maintenance schedule.
- Diagnose breakdowns and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to maximise equipment performance.
- Assist with machinery upgrades, installations and continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures.
About You:
- A Grade Electrical Licence.
- Previous maintenance experience within an FMCG, food, beverage, pharmaceutical or packaging environment.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with PLC fault finding
- A proactive attitude with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
