An excellent opportunity is available for experienced Maintenance Electricians to join a large food manufacturing operation in Laverton. Offering a competitive hourly rate, consistent overtime, and long-term job security, this role is ideal for electricians looking to grow their career in a fast-paced production environment.
Shift Details
- AM Shift: 4:30am – 2:00pm
- $49/hr base rate
- Super paid on top
- Plenty of overtime available
- Permanent full-time position
Key Responsibilities
- Preventative and reactive maintenance on production and processing equipment
- Electrical fault finding across automated and PLC-controlled machinery
- Minimise downtime and support production performance
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food manufacturing standards
- Assist with continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades
What You Bring
- Current A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Previous experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, processing, or a similar industrial environment
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities
- Exposure to PLCs and automated equipment highly regarded
- Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused approach
