Maintenance Fitter – Leading Food Manufacturer | Glenroy, VIC

• Rate $65.65 p/h + super + overtime
• Full time, Permanent Opportunity

• Nightshift from Sunday, Monday, Tuesday night 7pm-7am. This shift finishes Wednesday morning 7am. 

Join one of Australia’s leading food manufacturing companies based in Glenroy, known for their commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join the site’s high performing maintenance team and help keep production running smoothly.

About the Role You will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment and machinery in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is a hands on role that will suit someone with strong mechanical aptitude, problem solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipment
• Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions
• Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
• Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures

About You

• Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter or equivalent
• Proven experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment
• Strong fault finding and problem solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and a proactive maintenance mindset
