Contract Maintenance Fitter – Food Manufacturing
Location: Laverton, Dandenong & Campbellfield, VIC

Overtime: Daily Overtime & Weekend Overtime
Hourly Rate: $60 – $70 p/h + super + penalties + overtime
Job Type: 6 month contract – option for extension, permanent and other contract opportunities

We are partnering with a leading food manufacturer who are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join their team on a contract basis at all 3 sites in Laverton, Dandenong and Campbellfield facilities.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of production through timely preventative and reactive maintenance on fast paced FMCG equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform breakdown maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Carry out preventative maintenance schedules on packaging and processing machinery.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Work collaboratively with production teams to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
• Ensure compliance with WHS and food safety standards.

About You:

• Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter (Cert III Mechanical).
• Proven experience in a food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across high speed machinery.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
• Safety focused with excellent attention to detail.
