The Role – Maintenance Fitter

The Rate – Upto $54 p/h + super (dependent on experience)
The Hours – 6am-2pm Monday to Friday

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join the site engineering team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, reliability, and efficiency of production equipment through preventative maintenance and breakdown support.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance across production lines and plant equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime
- Work with conveyors, pumps, mixers, packaging machinery, and other automated equipment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to drive plant reliability and efficiency
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety and food quality standards
- Collaborate with other trades and production staff to meet site priorities
About You
- Trade qualified Fitter (Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
- Previous experience in the food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing industry highly regarded
- Strong problem solving skills with a proactive, hands on approach
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and within a team environment
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
