The Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join the afternoon shift maintenance team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of production lines through preventative, reactive, and continuous improvement maintenance across a range of food manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine preventative and reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades
• Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure targets and safety standards are met
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and adhere to all site safety procedures

About You

• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (Cert III Engineering – Mechanical)
• Previous experience in the food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing industry
• Strong mechanical aptitude with exposure to conveyors, fillers, pumps, and packaging lines
• Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
• Team-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality
