Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 + super

Roster – 7 days on 7 days off – 7 nights on 7 nights off

About the Role We are seeking a reliable and hands on Maintenance Fitter to join our food manufacturing operation in Wemen. This role is critical to keeping our production equipment running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
You’ll work as part of a small, supportive maintenance team in a fast paced food manufacturing environment, carrying out both preventative and reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on food manufacturing equipment
• Diagnose and fault find mechanical issues quickly and effectively
• Maintain conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, and processing machinery
• Ensure all work complies with food safety, quality, and WHS standards
• Assist with continuous improvement and equipment upgrades
• Maintain accurate maintenance records

About You:

• Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter (Cert III Engineering – Mechanical or equivalent)
• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments (highly regarded)
• Strong fault finding and problem solving skills
• Understanding of preventative maintenance systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety, hygiene, and quality standards
